Qualifications

• We are seeking a post-doctoral fellow with strong background in polymeric materials and translational research.
• Experience with polymer processing, 3D printing and polymer characterization is preferred.
• Ph.D. in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Blend and compound polymeric blends of polyethylene with additives.
• Process polymers into solid forms via compression molding, extrusion, and injection molding.
• Carry out post-processing such as radiation or cross-linking or sterilization.
• Conduct physical, mechanical, tribological and chemical characterization of polymers.
• Perform spectroscopy and thermal analysis; supervise biomedical research engineers.
• Collaborate with team members on delivery device formulation and preclinical studies.
