Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in polymer science or materials research is required.

Responsibilities

• Blend and compound polymeric blends of polyethylene with additives.
• Process polymers into solid forms (compression molding, extrusion, injection molding).
• Characterize polymers (mechanical, tribological, chemical) using spectroscopy and thermal analysis.
• Perform advanced microscopy (fluorescence, confocal, live, SEM/TEM) and analytical chemistry (HPLC, LC-MS).
• Supervise biomedical research engineers and support preclinical studies.
