Job summary

The Cohen Lab at CU Anschutz, NIH/DoD/DARPA-funded, seeks a postdoctoral fellow to study trauma-induced coagulopathy and thromboinflammation. The research spans human biorepository samples, validated mouse models of hemorrhagic shock, a 3D endothelial flow model, and high-throughput multiomics.

Candidates should hold a PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or bioengineering with experience in endothelial cells, microfluidic/flow systems, rodent models, and/or multiomics, and have

Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, bioengineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience with endothelial cell models, microfluidic/flow systems, rodent models, and/or multiomics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanistic studies of protein C pathway activation in trauma-induced coagulopathy using patient samples and ex vivo studies.
• Explore endothelial biology of thromboinflammation using 3D flow models and mouse trauma models.
• Perform multiomic profiling (proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics) to define post-injury phenotypes and trajectories.
