Qualifications

• PhD or MD in a biological science or a related field with prior research in a scientific lab.
• Strong background with peer‑reviewed publications demonstrating leadership in scientific projects and skills in experimental design, data analysis, data presentation, contextualization and writing.
• Experience in blood coagulation research is strongly preferred but not required.
• Experience in biochemistry/enzymology, cell biology (tissue culture, histology), mouse models of thrombosis and hemostasis, or bioinformatics is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to established research efforts initially, then develop an independent line of investigation leading to future fellowship or funding.
• Work on mechanisms of hemostasis and thrombosis and related blood disorders.
• Present and publish research findings; design experiments, analyze data, and contextualize results.
