Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part‑time role in Milwaukee, WI, focusing on transitions of care. The position involves completing medication histories and working at Aurora Sinai every other weekend (1pm–9:30pm).

The role requires a state board license, CPhT or ExCPT certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings is preferred; block shifts may apply and occasional travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete area-specific tasks per standard processes and policies
• Serve as an expert with equipment and technology in the unit
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the specialized area
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of records
• Support communication with patients and care team
• Identify quality improvement opportunities to enhance safety and efficiency
• Contribute to operational changes and site/system standardization
• Participate in relevant teams or committees as applicable
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards
• Keep knowledge up-to-date and assist in staff education
• Support pharmacy department initiatives and workload balancing
