Job summary

NexCore Group seeks a Transitions Project Manager to coordinate the move from construction to operations across multiple communities. You will bridge construction and resident operations, ensuring licensure readiness, IT readiness, and a smooth first occupancy.

You will support the construction manager in final six months, manage schedules, milestones, and risk, and lead cross-functional transition governance with executive updates. Strong communication and accountability are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior living experience with emphasis on licensure, operations policy and development.
• Direct experience with pre-opening, asset transitions, or operational ramp-up preferred.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction closeout, and facility readiness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate readiness between Construction, Development and Operations; ensure licensure readiness prior to occupancy.
• Lead transition execution from late-stage construction through early operations; develop a standardized transition playbook.
• Manage cross-functional transitions, provide executive updates, and drive on-time openings.
