Anchor Point Early Learning Academy is seeking a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher for our East Greenwich campus. You will bridge preschool and kindergarten with developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning that builds readiness and curiosity.

The ideal candidate has experience in early childhood education (Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, or kindergarten), a solid understanding of child development, excellent communication and teamwork, and a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related

Qualifications

• Implement developmentally appropriate Transitional Kindergarten curriculum aligned with RI standards.
• Strengthen early literacy, math, science, and critical thinking through hands-on activities.
• Support social-emotional development and guiding classroom responsibilities.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress for individualized goals.
• Collaborate with families and educators to create an inclusive classroom community.
• Maintain a safe, organized, nurturing learning environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Transitional Kindergarten instruction to bridge preschool and kindergarten.
• Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences for 4-6 year olds.
• Monitor student progress and tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Foster social-emotional growth and positive student relationships.
• Partner with families to support learning at home and school.
