Job summary

Anchor Point Early Learning Academy in East Greenwich, RI is seeking a passionate Early Educator to join our caring team. You will implement age-appropriate curricula, support development, and partner with families to monitor progress.

This role emphasizes safety, joy, and inclusive learning in a licensed preschool setting. Ideal candidates have experience in early childhood education, knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, and the ability to pass a background check and RI licensing

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early learning standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet RI DCYF licensing requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that support early childhood development
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for all children
• Monitor and document individual child progress, milestones, and developmental goals
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure program consistency and quality
• Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols
