Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia is seeking an Instructor for the Project SEARCH program at UPMC Passavant Hospital. The role focuses on planning and directing job readiness and transition services for young adults, coordinating work experiences, and managing key stakeholder relations.

The instructor works with a team of providers and host sites to implement individualized transition plans and ensure successful job placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required with at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with individuals who experience barriers to employment is required.
• Preferred: teaching certification or Special Education certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate job readiness and related transition services.
• Facilitate job readiness workshops and coordinate work experiences.
• Manage stakeholder relations with host sites, schools, families and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and individual transition plans.
