Job summary

The Instructor for Project SEARCH will plan, direct, and coordinate job readiness and related transition services at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh. You will facilitate workshops, coordinate work experiences, and manage relationships with host sites and school districts to deliver a seamless program.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires a Bachelor's in Education and 2+ years' experience, valid teaching certification, and the ability to work with youth facing employment barriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or other related field AND 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid teaching certificate (all state certificates eligible).
• Experience working with individuals who experience barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate job readiness services and rotations.
• Maintain relationships with program partners and host sites to meet student needs.
• Evaluate participant skills and adjust plans to ensure goal attainment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
