Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• DESE licensure or equivalent certification required.
• Valid MA driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support school mission and vision.
• Collaborate with leaders and staff to identify areas to implement curricula and improvements.
• Coordinate vocational training programs and work experiences between school and worksites.
• Lead transition department including supervision and training of job coaches.
• Develop transition curriculum and coordinate with teachers and aides.
• Administer assessments to inform IEP and transition planning.
• Provide direct training in independent living and community access.
• Coordinate with districts and providers for seamless transitions to adult services.
• Assist teachers in developing transition portfolios and MyCAP activities.
• Provide classroom coverage as needed and support principal.
