Job summary

New Narrative seeks a Peer Specialist to support individuals transitioning from restrictive environments, helping them navigate housing, health services, and the judicial system. Qualifications

• At least two years of peer working experience.
• Current Peer Support Certification required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Must maintain current Oregon driver’s license and pass criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to individuals in the Polaris program.
• Coordinate with community resources to access housing, food, and medical care.
• Assist program staff with interventions and documentation.
• De-escalation and crisis support as needed.
• Assist participants with court dates and navigating the judicial system.
• Attend required meetings and maintain timely documentation.
