Campbell Union High School District is seeking a Job Developer/Transition Coach to manage grant-funded job training and school-to-work transitions for students with special needs. You will coordinate with instructors and vocational staff to create opportunities and support student growth.

The role emphasizes developing community connections, monitoring performance, and guiding students toward employment readiness while complying with program guidelines.

Formación

• Knowledge of Workability and/or TPP program.
• Knowledge of job development methods.
• Knowledge of English usage, vocabulary, grammar.
• Knowledge of employability and barriers to employment for disabled youth.
• Understand and work with special needs of handicapped students.
• Understand school campus policies.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills with tact and courtesy.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to communicate with children and adults.

Responsabilidades

• Develop pre-vocational training sites and job sites.
• Develop community contacts and screen job-ready workers.
• Assist employers in defining tasks for the program.
• Maintain ongoing communication with employees and employers.
• Reinforce pre-vocational training and monitor student performance.
• Provide instruction on work behaviors and safety.
• Prepare student job task lists and participate in program meetings.
