WMATA is seeking undergraduate and graduate students for an Associate Engineer internship within Operations. This hands-on program offers exposure to transit services, mentoring from Operations leaders, and real-world problem solving with direct impact on customers and employees.

Assignments may include office and field work across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Interns will rotate through departments aligned with their major and participate in safety and operations training.

Responsabilités

• Compiles, reviews and analyzes data; inputs and corrects data for reports.
• Researches data for management, operations, technical and administrative reports; uses various reports to complete tasks.
• Produces work products such as presentations, reports, correspondence, data visuals and project plans.
• Reviews reports to identify problems and suggests solutions under guidance.
• Participates in training sessions related to assigned functions; attends meetings for exposure to transit functions.
• Participates in and/or leads departmental meetings and working sessions.
