Job summary

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) offers an Associate Engineer internship in Operations, providing hands-on, practical transit industry experience. Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal computers and standard office equipment.
• Knowledgeable of software: spreadsheets, word processing, databases.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review, and analyze data; input and verify data for reports.
• Prepare management, operations, technical, and administrative reports.
• Create presentations, reports, and data visuals for assigned department.
• Identify problems in reports and propose solutions with guidance.
• Attend training and department meetings to gain exposure to transit functions.
