Job summary

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites undergraduate and graduate students to join the Operations team as an Associate Engineer intern for this summer. Participants will work with mentors to tackle real-world transit problems affecting riders and employees across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Qualifications

• Data analysis and reporting experience with MS Office.
• Ability to interpret data and prepare management or operations reports.
• Familiarity with office software and databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection, input and report generation.
• Support in preparation of management and operations reports.
• Develop presentations and graphical data representations.
• Attend department meetings and trainings for exposure to transit functions.
• Collaborate with teams to support ongoing projects.
