The University of Georgia is looking for a Transit Technician II responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing fleet vehicles, including transit buses. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance according to industry standards and will ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.
This full-time position requires technical knowledge and a valid driver’s license, with a salary range of $34,500 to $41,500 per year. Applicants must submit to drug and alcohol testing as per Department of Transportation regulations.
Position Summary: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair defects on fleet vehicles, including transit buses and other fleet vehicles. Perform maintenance in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol testing and a background check.
