Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Transit Systems Intern in Minnesota to gain real-world experience within our transportation team.

You will work under the supervision of a professional or Project Manager, applying standard engineering techniques on meaningful projects that impact communities. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, with attention to detail, strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

In the role of Transit Systems Intern, we’ll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree.
• Knowledge of CAD.
• Interest or completed course work in:
  • Circuits
  • Systems Engineering
• Preference given to local candidates
