Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration or related field.
• Six years of progressively responsible transportation experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates the operations of the bus location transportation services.
• Develops, plans, recommends and implements policy, procedures and solutions to operational issues and problems.
• Implements operator safety and customer service training programs; evaluates effectiveness of training programs; investigates accidents and reviews accident reports.
• Represents the company to the union in labor relations matters and ensures adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
• Forecasts future personnel needs and formulates the operating budget at the location.
• Participates in labor negotiations and personnel administration as needed.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws (e.g., DOT, ADA).
• Reviews daily operations to identify and resolve deficiencies; completes required reports.
