Modivcare is seeking an Exception Specialist I in Delaware to manage accurate fulfillment and approvals for transportation service requests before and after transport. You will work with members, facilities, clients, and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely bookings and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate fulfillment and approval procedures related to transportation service requests/reservations.
• Assist in creating, modifying, and recertifying standing orders under supervision.
• Support management of standing orders and hospital discharge trip assignments.
• Assist in ensuring cost-saving measures by providing data for review.
• Maintain and update facility rolodex with guidance.
• Investigate and report customer service issues and exceptions.
• Provide initial assistance with benefit utilization issues, verifications, waivers, and pre-authorizations.
• Participate in denial and appeal process under supervision.
• Assist in conducting cancellation audits to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support management in provider liquidated damages and recoupment tasks.
• Assist with handling utilization issues and reviewing utilization and billing trends.
