Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Spokane, WA. You will conduct unarmed patrols of transit facilities, assist riders and employees, and respond to incidents with a calm, team-focused approach.

The role emphasizes visible presence, safety, and professional customer service in a dynamic transportation environment. Requirements include at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required for Allied Universal driver policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees while following site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and service disruptions, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeters.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to deter unauthorized access.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and incident documentation per site procedures.
