Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Field Inspections in Seattle, WA. You will patrol transit facilities and surrounding areas, maintain a visible security presence, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with safety and courtesy. A valid driver’s license is required for the driving post.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $28.50 per hour. You will work a night schedule and contribute to a safe, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience (minimum).
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe locations for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports.
