Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees while following site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and service disruptions, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeters.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to deter unauthorized access.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and incident documentation per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to riders, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming public transportation environment.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
