Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Transit Patrol Driver in Denver, CO. You will perform armed patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to passengers and staff at a government transit location.

The role requires an armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of security experience. Work schedule is full-time with daytime shifts and weekend coverage, paying $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding grounds.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with transit personnel and public emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe passenger activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, observations, and response actions.
