Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO seeks a Security Guard for train fair enforcement at a public transit location. This unarmed patrol role focuses on visible security, passenger assistance, and incident response.

The position offers full-time hours with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Prior security experience and active licenses are preferred; candidates must be 18+ for unarmed roles and pass background and drug screenings as required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required or preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• State/county/city security license is preferred.
• Applicants must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as allowed by law.
• Drug screen will be performed as allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity or policy violations per reporting procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, and general public assistance at transit locations.
