Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Reporting in Brooklyn, NY. You will serve clients in various industries, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service and communication.

This role requires you to respond to incidents professionally, monitor access points, and file clear reports. Minimum requirements include being 18+, high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and local licensing as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit personnel, passengers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing passengers and visitors in accordance with location procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and observations.
