Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Brooklyn, NY to protect clients across various industries and support government transportation locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain a visible security presence during your assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring areas, responding to incidents, and documenting activities per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous security services to passengers, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter security incidents.
• Monitor areas for hazards and report observations promptly.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, station areas, entrances, platforms, surrounding perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions, potential hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations through required communication channels.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
