Job summary

Fountain is seeking a Safety Manager in Fresno, CA to develop and enforce safety compliance for transit programs, ensuring DOT/OSHA/CAL-OSHA standards are met. You will oversee training, risk management, and driver safety initiatives across the organization.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, experience in supervising driver trainers, and the ability to manage investigations and reporting, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3 years of trainer experience in transportation desired.
• CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within six months.
• DOT/OSHA/CAL-OSHA knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design training programs for transportation personnel.
• Supervise driver trainers and set objectives, standards, and schedules.
• Oversee classroom and behind‑the‑wheel training for applicants and drivers.
