Job summary

AECOM seeks a Transit Safety Security Specialist to lead project tasks for internal and external clients across the United States, applying risk management processes developed by FTA and industry standards from APTA.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized, a self-starter, and capable of guiding multi-disciplinary colleagues and junior staff with minimal oversight from senior management. Experience with PTSCTP, TSSP, and U.S. cybersecurity and safety programs is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Demonstrated lead experience on transit safety projects and programs.
• Ability to obtain/maintain relevant safety certification credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead project tasks for internal and external clients across the United States.
• Develop PHAs/TVAs, mitigations, and countermeasures.
• Interact with agency clients and project managers to drive outcomes.
• Prepare SSC documents, reports, and compliance reviews.
• Support PTASP development, annual reviews, and updates.
