Job summary

Fort Bend County is seeking a Reservationist to handle passenger trip bookings within county requirements using an automated scheduling system. You will provide excellent customer service by phone, update passenger information, and coordinate with Operations to resolve issues.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, 3 years of related experience, strong computer skills, and solid communication abilities. This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required or equivalent.
• 3 years of related experience; scheduling/reservations preferred.
• Strong computer skills and math and/or accounting aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal and public-facing communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reserves passenger trips within Fort Bend County requirements using an automated scheduling system.
• Estimates wait times for ride times for passengers.
• Provides excellent customer service when speaking to clients.
• Acts as liaison between clients and Operations Supervisor to resolve issues.
• Inputs changes and/or cancellations into the database.
• Updates passenger information and/or deletions as needed in the database.
