The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites college and graduate students to join its summer internship program within the Metro Transit Police Department and other departments. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and college attendance in a related discipline.
• Freshman year completed, sophomore year starting; GPA 2.8+.
• Pursuing a degree aligned with internship requirements.
• Experience with data tools andOffice suites is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data for reports.
• Researches data for management and operations reports.
• Produces work products: presentations, reports, data visuals.
• Reviews reports and suggests solutions under guidance.
• Attends training sessions and participates in meetings.
• Contributes to departmental projects and teamwork.
