Job summary

MBTA is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Quality Compliance and Oversight (QCO) team in delivering cross-functional projects on time and within scope. You will handle meetings, minutes, databases, and process improvements to enhance overall quality and compliance.

You will assist with project documentation, tracking milestones and budgets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and efficient operations across MBTA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of experience in project administration or coordination duties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Database, and PowerPoint.
• Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, confidentiality, multi-tasking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for project updates with stakeholders.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings; manage correspondence and present information clearly.
• Provide administrative and operational support to project teams as needed.
• Assist in identifying requirements, setting priorities, and aligning activities with goals.
• Organize workload and follow up on task completion.
• Lead creation and maintenance of project documentation and reports.
• Track milestones, budgets, and resource utilization.
