Job summary

RINA North America is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join the Civil Engineering Division in Boston, MA or Chicago, IL. The role centers on CPM scheduling, cost control, and Earned Value Management for transit projects.

You will work with Primavera P6 and MS Office, develop time-phased budgets, participate in performance reporting, and support project documentation and risk management. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical, financial, or business management field.
• 3+ years' experience supporting scope management, planning & scheduling for transit/transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls and earned value management.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost and resource loaded CPM schedules.
• Maintain time-phased budgets, work schedules, and cost accounts.
• Provide project earned value reporting and forecasting.
• Interface with technical, financial, and project-management staff on scheduling and cost issues.
• Perform monthly performance and baseline variance analyses and implement corrective actions.
