Job summary

RINA is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our Civil Engineering Division in Boston, MA or Chicago/Lisle, IL. You will provide CPM scheduling, cost control, and Earned Value Management on transit and transportation projects.

You will use Primavera P6 and MS Office to develop schedules, budgets, and reports, interfacing with technical, financial, and project management staff to track performance and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, financial, or business field.
• Experience on transit or transportation projects.
• Strong Primavera P6 and MS Office skills.
• 3+ years supporting scope management, scheduling, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost and resource loaded CPM schedules.
• Maintain time-phased budgets and work breakdown structures.
• Provide earned value reporting and forecasting.
• Interface with technical, financial, and project staff on scheduling and risk.
• Perform monthly performance data analysis and variance reporting.
