Job summary

STV invites applications for a Project Controls Engineer in the Transportation South division, supporting WMATA JDAC with budget tracking and cost control. Responsibilities include labor reporting, expenditure prep, and data management in Procore, with collaboration across PMs and WMATA Accounting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management and 5+ years in project controls, with strong written and verbal communication and proficiency in Procore, PeopleSoft and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls.
• Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and strong technical writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Oracle PeopleSoft and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with ACPM and JDAC procedures for assigned projects.
• Update and manage project data in Procore with relevant documents.
• Generate bi-weekly labor reports and collaborate to address unauthorized labor.
• Prepare monthly expenditure reports and balance tracking for JDAC.
• Coordinate with project teams and WMATA Accounting for invoices and financials.
• Assist in developing cost estimates and forecasts for budgeting.
• Provide financial data to support decision-making and oversight.
• Submit daily logs through WMATA’s Procore system.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
