Via Mobility Services, doing business as Via Colorado, seeks a Program Assistant Manager in Boulder, CO. You will coordinate and supervise activities for HOP, Boulder Paratransit, and Special Contract services, including scheduling staff, coordinating time off, and assisting in hiring.

The role emphasizes coaching drivers and ensuring smooth field operations in alignment with the Boulder Program Manager. The position requires a high school diploma, transit industry training, and at least 3 years

Qualifications

• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Education supplemented by specialized training in the transit industry and related transit experience.
• Minimum 3 years supervisor experience.
• Experience in hiring employees.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft and Google.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices and procedures.
• Dependable with a strong attendance record, good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, follow-through and understanding of confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with other employees and the public.
• Knowledge of the geographic and demographic service area.
• Must pass and maintain DOT physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise activities for HOP, Boulder Paratransit, and Special Contract services.
• Schedule staff for daily/weekly routes and coordinate vacation and sick time requests.
• Involved in hiring staff and ensuring smooth operations in the field including coaching drivers.
• Work closely with the Boulder Program Manager.
