Job summary

Via Mobility Services seeks a Transportation Program Assistant Manager to coordinate and supervise daily operations for HOP, Boulder Paratransit, and Special Contract services. You will schedule staff, handle vacations and sick time, and contribute to hiring and coaching drivers in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay range is $70,000–$75,000 per year. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm with potential weekend or day shifts; benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision,

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and transit-specific training.
  • Supervisory experience of 3+ years is required or strongly preferred.
  • Ability to hire staff and coordinate staffing for routes and shifts.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Demonstrated reliability and confidentiality with attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly routes for HOP, Boulder Paratransit, and Special Contract services.
  • Schedule staff, manage vacations and sick time, and ensure smooth field operations.
  • Hire staff and provide ongoing coaching and problem solving with drivers.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to maintain service quality and safety.
