Job summary

The Mobility Program Coordinator, under general supervision, administers a transit program and coordinates with external agencies and customers to deliver reliable transportation services. Responsibilities include registering residents for programs, processing forms, preparing financial records, monitoring providers, and reporting program performance using the Mobility Platform and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, business or public administration or related field.
• One year of experience in transit operations or related program; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of public transportation management and urban and regional transportation planning principles and theories.
• Current valid driver's license and good driving record with Virginia DMV point limits.
• Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check, and education verification.

Responsibilities

• Administer a transit program and coordinate mobility services.
• Register and certify residents for programs; process forms.
• Prepare financial records; monitor revenues and expenditures.
• Market programs and educate external agencies and customers.
• Monitor providers to resolve service concerns.
• Develop and coordinate transportation services with external agencies.
• Prepare rider and financial reports using Mobility Platform and Power BI.
• Analyze program performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Support budgets and grant writing.
• Travel to regional and state-wide transportation seminars.
