Job summary

Luster is seeking a Project Scheduler for a portfolio of transit capital improvement projects in San Jose, CA. You will develop, maintain, and analyze schedules for the owner’s Project Controls team across planning, design, construction, and closeout.

The role requires 5+ years in transit or heavy civil projects, strong CPM, TIA, and scheduling software skills (Primavera P6/Unifier, MS Project). On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience developing and analyzing schedules for transit or heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, schedule development, analysis, and forecasting.
• Experience with contractor baseline schedules and monthly updates.
• Experience with Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and schedule change evaluation.
• Familiarity with earned value concepts and project controls.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Unifier, MS Project, and MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update master and detailed project schedules for a portfolio of transit projects.
• Analyze schedules to identify critical paths, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Review contractor schedules and monthly updates for contract compliance.
• Perform Time Impact Analysis for contract changes and delays.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to keep schedules accurate.
• Integrate individual projects into program-level master schedules for reporting.
• Support schedule performance, cost controls, funding, and earned value reporting.
• Prepare schedule analyses, progress reports, and executive dashboards.
