Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required and compliant with laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following procedures and policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances, document observations, and communicate with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing foot traffic while following post orders.
• Observe maintenance concerns and policy violations, reporting them professionally.
