Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Transit Planner for the Pacific Northwest, with flexibility to be based in Bellevue, WA or Portland, OR. You will lead transit planning tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams on rail, bus studies, corridor and service planning, and multimodal access initiatives.

The role involves developing data-driven planning materials, GIS mapping, and supporting proposals to grow STV’s Seattle/Puget Sound presence in a fast-growing market.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of transit/transportation planning experience.
• Degree in Urban/Transportation Planning or related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience in preparing transit master plans, AA, environmental reports, or related documents.
• Proficiency with GIS or graphic illustration programs and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support transit planning and analysis tasks across the Pacific Northwest.
• Deliver rail and bus studies, corridor and service planning, and multimodal access initiatives.
• Develop data-driven planning materials using GIS, visuals, and technical writing.
• Support business development through proposals and client engagement.
