Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited (DTLC) is recruiting a Payroll Specialist for an onsite assignment in Tampa, FL. The role supports Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) with complex payroll processing and ensures compliance with contracts and laws.

The assignment is at least 30 days, with a business casual dress code and onsite parking. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of payroll experience, associates degree in a related field, strong data entry, and familiarity with ADP or Trapeze.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Two to Four years of work experience in payroll, accounting, human resources, timekeeping or a related administrative role (Required, 2 years).
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Experience processing and reviewing complex payroll transactions with high accuracy.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet payroll deadlines.
• Experience in a unionized environment is highly desirable.
• Experience using ADP or Trapeze payroll systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process complex payroll transactions and ensure accurate, timely payment of employees.
• Research, interpret and apply payroll policies, labor contracts, and applicable laws.
• Investigate and resolve escalated payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and year‑end payroll activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and act as system resource for staff.
