Job summary

San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) seeks a Part-Time Passenger Support Representative to provide general system and service information at transit stations and ticket vending machines. You will assist the public, handle sales and fare inquiries, and support events with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Scheduled on an as-needed basis with shifts that may start early or end late; outdoor as well as indoor duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required.
• Capable of handling cash accurately and giving correct change.

Responsibilities

• Provide general passenger information and assistance at stations and ticket machines.
• Assist with ticket sales and fare inquiries.
• Support staff for events and agency initiatives; represent MTS professionally.
