The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is seeking a Serviceperson to perform maintenance, cleaning and landscaping at rail stations, parking lots and yards.

Shifts may include mornings or afternoons with overtime and weekend work as needed; duties cover transporting equipment, cleaning facilities, lawn care, and basic repairs.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED preferred and a valid California driver's license; DMV record must accompany the application.

Formación

• Knowledge of or ability to learn MTS policies and regulations.
• Ability to read, understand and apply MTS policies, regulations and union labor contracts.
• Ability to write letters, memoranda and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct English.

Responsabilidades

• Attend daily briefings for assignments and instructions.
• Travel to assigned locations via company vehicle or trolley.
• Clean stations, restrooms, and platforms; operate cleaning tasks.
• Load supplies and assist with painting, roofing and repairs as needed.
• Landscape stations and yards, trim hedges and check irrigation systems.
