The role emphasizes KPI management, labor relations, budgeting, and collaboration with maintenance and safety teams; CDL preferred and four years in public transportation required. The position requires strong communication with state and local authorities and a focus on cost control and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum four (4) years of operations experience in public transportation.
• CDL preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ADA, DMV & DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations and liaises between client and company.
• Ensures safety practices and regulations are obeyed by all employees.
• Coordinates with Maintenance and Safety Managers to meet safety and environmental standards.
• Manages labor relations and resolves employee grievances.
• Schedules operators, dispatchers and supervisors in the operations department.
• Interprets laws, rules, regulations and labor/management agreements.
• Focuses on KPIs to manage service quality and budget variances.
• Provides operational and financial reporting as requested by management.
