Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience coordinating routes, transit assets, and grant compliance.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and move about with ease.
• Strong written and oral communication with the public.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Assist in developing a quality transit program for tribal citizens.
• Maintain logs of transportation activities and scheduling calendar.
• Coordinate customer transfers and ensure punctual pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Dispatch calls and communicate with drivers to document requests.
• Confirm essential information with customers and adjust for weather-related cancellations.
• Schedule routine vehicle maintenance and route-related needs.
• Attend trainings and ensure compliance with transportation requirements.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
