Responsibilities

• Supervises, motivates, and oversees Operators to meet department goals
• Completes Operator evaluations and documents disciplinary actions
• Monitors radio system; coordinates detours and emergencies
• Evaluates and revises schedules
• Assists with investigations of collisions and incidents with documentation
• Prepares operational reports and maintains payroll and road reports as needed
• Liaises with public, other Town departments, and emergency services
• Back-up supervision and shift change adjustments
• Operates bus in revenue and non-revenue service as needed
• Ensures headways compliance and guides operators on issues
• Assists with applicant interviewing and hiring
• Inspects in-service vehicles for schedule adherence
