Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a dispatcher supervisor to oversee 30-60 drivers and monitors, developing efficient routes and assigning drivers based on skills and performance.

You will maintain records, ensure policy compliance, support customers and guardians, and build strong relationships with programs and contracted organizations. This role requires flexible early-morning shifts and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have prior supervising experience.
• Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and have a strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and like solving problems.
• Learn the programs, clients, and employees sufficiently to determine appropriate assignments.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Exhibit good technology skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook), Google Chrome, Android tablets, etc.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and driver’s license and respond to coverage needs as required.
• Must be able to work comfortably in a small and busy office environment.
• Must be able to sit, stand, stretch, reach, lift and walk during an 8-hour shift.
• Must be flexible and adaptable with ever-changing assignments.
• Flexible schedule including early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and advise 30-60 drivers and monitors.
• Develop and implement efficient routes across several regions per client needs.
• Assign driver assignments reflecting knowledge and performance.
• Receive, record, retrieve and deliver messages; solve operational problems while maintaining professional relations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies through dispatch and observation; develop driver skills.
• Promote good performance and recommend reassignment or discipline as needed.
• Spend time behind the wheel to know routes, clients, drivers, programs and facilities; provide emergency back-up.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with supervisees and customers.
