Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent business management experience.
• Management experience required.
• Five years of operations management experience and seven years of management or supervisory experience in a transit environment with knowledge of scheduling software.
• Labor/union negotiations/expenses expertise.
• Understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and safety DOT, ADA and FTA compliance.
• MS Office, analytical skills, communication skills, multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs.
• Identify, train, and mentor location staff.
• Communicate with location staff and support team members.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance plan and fleet availability.
• Oversee safety and training programs for compliance.
• Maintain client contact to meet expectations.
• Conduct periodic departmental audits.
• Review operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Manage location financials; report exceptions; support budgeting.
• Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Interact with bridges committee to improve policies and programs.
• Participate in labor relations activities.
• Provide insights for contract renewals.
• Create and present location annual budget.
