Job summary

City of Albuquerque's Transit Department seeks a detail-oriented professional to assist in planning and coordinating motorcoach and paratransit operations. You will work within the Operations Division to support supervisors, ensure compliance, and coordinate with other divisions and external partners.

This safety-sensitive role requires an associate degree and transit operator experience, plus valid NM driver’s license, COP, and CDL-B with P endorsement, with DOT drug testing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business; three years transit operator experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
• Must possess NM Driver's License and be able to obtain by date of hire.
• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement within three weeks of City CDL training; DOT physical and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization, staffing and operational activities for motorcoach/paratransit operations; monitor safety and performance of operators.
• Develop and implement goals, policies, procedures and directives; participate in work planning and reviews.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining required certifications for motorcoach and paratransit.
• Perform driving and non-driving duties as needed; identify improvements in service delivery.
